Built around a phone camera
Your quizzes are on Canvas in a browser. Gauth expects you to photograph the screen or copy the question over.
StudyFox vs Gauthmath
Gauthmath started as a math camera and grew into a general homework app. StudyFox starts where your coursework is: in the browser.
Gauthmath (now just Gauth) is a strong phone app: snap a photo, get an AI answer, and for hard problems queue it to a human tutor. The tutor route is the reason to pay, and it is also the reason answers can take a while. The rest of the product is built around a phone screen. StudyFox lives in the browser, solves questions inline on Canvas, Blackboard and Moodle with the reasoning shown, and turns the same material into flashcards, quizzes and mind maps for the exam.

Where Gauthmath falls short
Your quizzes are on Canvas in a browser. Gauth expects you to photograph the screen or copy the question over.
AI answers are instant but uneven on hard problems. The tutor queue fixes that, at a cost and with a wait.
Nothing carries over. No flashcards, no quiz, no notes on the topic you just struggled with.
What StudyFox does differently
The Chrome extension reads the question on your LMS and answers inline, reasoning included.
Paste, upload or screenshot and get the steps in seconds, whether it is calculus or constitutional law.
Generate flashcards with spaced repetition, a quiz with explanations, or a mind map from the same material.
